On August 15, the Shandong Department of Education announced the second batch of “Huang Danian Teacher Teams in Shandong Universities”. The “Agricultural Product Processing and Storage Engineering Teachers Team” led by Professor Yue Fengli from the School of Food Science and Engineering of our school won this honor.

The "Agricultural Product Processing and Storage Engineering Teachers Team" is led by Professor Yue Fengli, with 17 members in total. Under the leadership of Professor Yue Fengli, the team has achieved a series of fruitful achievements in recent years. The person in charge, Professor Yue Fengli, has successively won the Labor Medal of “Enriching the People and Prospering Shandong” in Shandong, the “March 8th Red Banner Bearer” of Shandong Universities, the Advanced Individual of Science and Technology in Agriculture in Shandong, and the Outstanding Teachers of Shandong;Chen Qingmin, member of the team, was awarded the honorary title of "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Shandong Province";in recent years, the team has undertaken 16 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects,eight teaching and research topics, published more than 100 papers, applied for more than 30 invention patents (nineauthorized), and formulated six standards and technical regulations in various levels; team members have successively wononefirst prize of Shandong Province Science and Technology Invention,onefirst prize of Progress Award of National Commercial Science and TechnologyofChinaGeneral Chamber of Commence, three Shandong Universities Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Awards, etc.,onefirst prize of provincial Teaching Achievement Award,one school-level Teaching Achievement Award;one provincial-level first-class construction course,one provincial-level ideological and political demonstration course; organized and guided students to undertake 18 innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and wonmore than 30 awards of innovation and entrepreneurship competition at the provincial level and above; organized and carried out more than 30 scientific and technological rural service activities, trained and guided accumulated more than 3,000 people; cultivated a provincial innovation team of modern agricultural industry technology system vegetable storage and processing, one school innovation team of potato storage and processing, one provincial teaching team for food nutrition and detection.
