On the morning of July 16, Wang Wei, Director of the Sino-foreign Cooperation Education Information Platform,China representative office of Opole University of Technology in Poland,and another two visited our school. Vice President Zhang Zhaoming met with Director Wang Wei, the head of the International Affairs Office and related staff attended themeeting.
At the meeting, Vice President Zhang Zhaoming expressed his sincere welcome to Director Wang Wei's visit. He affirmed and supported the cooperation between the two schools and raised expectations for the cooperation program between the two schools. Men Huihua, Director of the International Affairs Office, summarized the basic situation of the early cooperation between the two universities and briefly reported on the progress of the cooperation program. Zhang Wei, director of the China Representative Office of Opole University of Technology in Poland, said they have attached great importance to the Sino-Poland cooperative education program with our school's Environmental and Ecological Engineering major, and hopes that the following cooperation will be smooth andsuccessful. After that, the two parties conducted in-depth discussions on details of the cooperation program's operation mode, application process, etc., put forward their own opinions on the specific implementation of the cooperation project, and put forward constructive opinions on how to strengthen the cooperation between the two parties. Finally, the two parties hope to deepen cooperation and optimize the model on the current foundation, and successfully implement the Sino-Poland cooperative education program of Environmental and Ecological Engineering of the two universities.
Opole University of Technology is located in Opole City of Poland. It is the largest academic center for technical sciences in the region. The school was founded in 1966 and now consists of six colleges including the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Mechanical Engineering, and the School of Technology and Computer Engineering Education, and so on. Opole University of Technology is an export-oriented university. The Environmental Engineering major belongs to the School of Mechanical Engineering. After completing the course,their graduates can obtain the European EUR-ACE® Engineering Education Quality Certificate.
