From July 1stto 6th, Tang Xin , director of Foreign Affairs Office, Li Liqun, Director of Foreign Language Department, and teacher Liang Wei headed by Wang Xiangjun, Secretary of CPC Committee of SDAEU paid a visit to Howon University in Korea. The delegation's visit aims to learn from theHowonUniversity’s experience in running a school and personnel training mode and other advanced experiences to promote the reconstruction and assessment of our university to enhance the internationalization.
During the visit, Secretary Wang and the associated members have made a communication with President Kang HsiCheng, Director of Academic Affairs Office Kim FengGui, Director Wu Jingzhe of Student Affairs Support Division and Director Chen DaYian of International Exchange College to implement the signed agreements between the two universities and further strengthen the cooperation and exchange between the two sides on in-depth communication and discussion; and accompanied by the leadership of the Howon University, the delegation have also visited the campus construction and experimental training facilities.
Secretary Wang and the associated members also visited the students of our school who went for further study in Howon University for undergraduate study and language training, and had a cordial discussion with them. Having listened to the students’ living and learning conditions and corresponding suggestions after coming to Howon University, Secretary Wang fully affirmed and praised everyone who can adapt himself to his study life in Korea so quickly and has confidence in the future development; Encouraged students to be down-to-earth, aim for the highest and live up to the expectations of parents and their alma mater, continued to fulfill excellent achievement in learning and career.
SDAEU and the Howon University have signed agreements on education cooperation and its implementation in July 2011 and this February respectively, in accordance with the agreement, the first batch of our students is planed to go to Howon University in this March, and from this September, our university will receive the exchange students from Howon University stage by stage and group by group to study and research.
