On the morning of August 20, Zheng Xiuzhen, director of International Exchange Office of South Korea's Wonkwang University, came to SDAEU for a goodwill visit. The two sides held cordial and friendly talks in the conference room on the fourth floor. Vice President Zhang Zhaoming attended the meeting and Director Tang Xin of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office presided over the conference. Yue Fengli, director of Academic Affairs Office, Wang Xiaoxia, deputy director of the School of Humanities, and relevant staff attended the meeting.
At the symposium, President Zhang warmly welcomed Director Zheng Xiuzhen and his entourage for the first visit to SDAEU, and made a comprehensive introduction from the development of the college, professional settings, faculty, training equipment and other aspects of our university through the PPT. The University of Wonkwang also vividly introduced to the school through a wonderful video. Afterwards, the two sides held an in-depth discussion on inter-school cooperation and student exchange. President Zhang gave affirmation to the cultivating mode of "2 + 1 + (2)" and "3 + 1 + (2)” And put forward in view of language barriers, whether the English achievement can be identified by expanding admissions standards, giving teachers further education, students more opportunities for admission. Director Zheng Xiuzhen and his entourage exchanged views sincerely and hoped that in the future, more opportunities could be created for both teachers and students to exchange ideas and learn more.
The talks went smoothly and both parties hoped to sign an inter-school cooperation agreement and students exchange agreement as soon as possible. It also agreed on the visit ofWonkwang Universityand the holding of a study abroad lecture.
