On May 7th, Professor Piao Qiche, President of International Education College of Pyeongtaek University, director of Sino-Korea Culture Education Department, visited SDAEU. President Li Yunxiang has warmly welcomed them. Vice President Zhang Zhaoming made a talk with them, associated members of Division of Exchange and Cooperation, Teaching Affairs Office and Department of Language and Culture attended the meeting. Both sides made a preliminary intention on building up a friendly relationship of being sister universities and an agreement of credits recognition for exchange students, and a co-educated program for faculty and students.
Vice President Zhang Zhaoming expressed his warm welcome to Professor Piao Qiche and his entourage. He also introduced in detail the development history, personnel training, teaching and research, international cooperation and exchanges to the guests. Zhang said that with the continuous improvement of the internationalization of education, international cooperation and exchange not only provide students with a good chance of going abroad for further study, but also provide a platform for cooperative colleges and universities to enhance the standard of running a school, and international cooperation and exchange in an effective manner promoted cultural exchange and dissemination of advanced technologies. Pyeongtaek University has a long history of exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities and hopes both sides can establish in-depth cooperation based on the good cooperation between Pyeongtaek University and their brother colleges and bring new opportunities for the development of both sides.
President Piao made a detailed introduction on the international exchange of Pyeongtaek University, and hope to carry out in-depth cooperation and exchange with our university. The two sides also exchanged views on the next exchange and cooperation and discussed the initial intention of establishing a friendly institutional relations framework, formulating exchange student credit recognition agreements, co-cultivation of students, and teacher exchange forms. Through exchange, President Piao fully affirmed the school running characteristics of our university.
After the meeting, both sides said that the forum laid the foundation for further cooperation and hoped to carry out cooperation as soon as possible in various fields.
