On the morning of May 25, the provincial demonstration training course of rural industry modernization in Gansu province, which was undertaken by our school, was held successfully in Jinan. Zhang Yeshang,the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, Han Jianbin, the director of the Information Management Department of the Organization Department of the Gansu Provincial Committee, the first-class researcher, and Zhang Weishu, the researcher of the Organization Department of the Gansu Provincial Committee, attended the opening ceremony, a total of 50 students from the county-level leading cadres in charge of agricultural work in Gansu Province attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu Wenbao,Deputy Dean of the Cadre Training School. During the training course, Ding Xibin, Secretary of the Party Committee, visited the experts and students, and put forward requirements for the training work.
In his speech, Zhang Yeshang pointed out that since 2001, our school has held four cadre training courses for Gansu Province, trained more than 200 county level cadres who were in charge of the agricultural field, the topic involves the urban and rural integration development, the agricultural sustainable development and so on. During the training, we exchanged and discussed with each other,learned from each other, brought back the good experience of Shandong, left the advanced and mature experience of Gansu, unblocked the cooperation and exchange channels between the two provinces, and built a green bridge.
Secretary Zhang introduced the basic situation of our school and the characteristics and achievements made in cadre training, rural revitalization and other works. He pointed out that at the historical juncture of advancing to the second centenary goal, to promote the orderly connection between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization, and to promote the modernization of rural industries, we should shoulder our responsibilities and make more contributions. He hoped that the students would change their roles as soon as possible and engage in in-depth study and exchanges to put their learning to use. On the basis of epidemic prevention and control, the Cadre Training School is required to organize and serve earnestly, arrange all the links in the teaching process, and complete the training course with good quality and quantity.
Han Jianbin expressed his heartfelt thanks to our school for all the careful preparations for the training class. He further emphasized the purpose and significance of the training course, and required all students to cherish the opportunity and concentrate on study,connect with practice and combine learning with use; improve the political position, strict self-discipline,establish a good image of leading cadres, and be a good "spokesperson" for the image of Gansu Province.
The six-day course is conducted in the form of theory teaching, interactive teaching, group discussion and on-the-spot teaching. In the first stage, relevant theoretical study will be carried out in Jinan, and the provincial Department of Agriculture, Provincial Academy of Social Sciences and relevant leading experts of the Shandong University of Finance and Economics will be invited to give lectures on such hot issues as “Rural revitalization”and “Integration of primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry”. The second stage is to go to Lanling County, Linyi City for on-site teaching.
