In order to actively respond to the call of the Shandong Communist of Youth League and further promote the construction of the "Cabin of Hope", on August 3, the donation ceremony of the "Cabin ofHope" of our school was successfully held. Zhang Wei, member of the school Party Committee and Vice President, Kong Lingjian, general manager of Jinan Baiteng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and representatives of the school Youth League Committee, School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering and teachers attended the donation ceremony.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Shandong Hope Project. The"Cabin of Hope", launched by the Shandong Communist Youth League, plans to use 3 years to build no less than 10,000 in Shandong to benefit children in need, each with about 12 thousand yuan. During the donation process organized by the Youth League Committee of our school, Jinan Baiteng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. donated 1 "Cabin of Hope", caring teachers donated 2 "Cabin of Hope".

Kong Lingjian is a 2007th graduate of the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering majoring in communication technology. He started his own business in 2010. After graduation, he has been devoted to his alma mater and actively participated in the school's talent training work. He once donated a batch of epidemic prevention materials during the epidemic prevention and control period. At the donation ceremony, Zhang Wei, on behalf of our school, expressed his gratitude to Kong Lingjian and the loving teachers. Zhang Wei pointed out that our alumni can work hard to start businesses and give back to the society, and our school teachers can donate generously andcontribute willingly. This spirit is admirable. He hoped that company can continue to pay attention to the school development and establish closer ties in school-enterprise joint construction and technological research. Poverty alleviation begins with helping the intelligence. After the completion of the "Cabin of Hope", Zhang Wei asked the Youth League Committee and the School of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering to organize student volunteers to assist in pairs, visit regularly, and help the children of "Cabin of Hope" through study counseling, life guidance and psychological counseling to cultivate a self-reliant, optimistic life attitude, enhance the ability to integrate into society, serve for healthy growth, and promote poor students from "cabin rejuvenation" to "spirit rejuvenation".
