On the afternoon of May 15, the higher education opening management research group of Education Department of Shandong came to our school forinvestigation. The research team is led by Wang Yunbo, Director of the School of International Education of Qingdao University. Zhang Yeshang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of our school, attended the research meeting,other directors of relevant departments also attended the meeting, such asthe Party Committee (School) Office, the Organization and Personnel Office, the College of International Exchange and Cooperation.

The research group first visited the international students dormitory and communicated with the international students. Then,they held a research meeting. At the meeting, Deputy Secretary Zhang Yeshang first extended a warm welcome to the research team, briefly introduced the history ofour school, the characteristics and development strategy, international exchanges, etc., and invited the research team to provide opinions and suggestions on the opening management of our school. According to the research requirements, Tang Xin, Director of the College of International Exchange and Cooperation, reported on the current situation and specific practices of the enrollment and management of international students, the management of overseas students, the appointment and management of foreign teachers, the assignment of teachers to go abroad, the construction of emergency response mechanisms and the handling of foreign affairs, and also introduced the effectiveness and characteristics of our school’s opening up work.

After the report, the research team held a discussion with the directors of relevant departments of the school, inquired about the open management ofour school, consulted the relevant archive materials, and went to the foreign teachers class to learn about thelessons. After the investigation, the research team gave feedback on the opening up work of our school, affirmed the effectiveness of our school's opening up work, put forward suggestions for specific opinions, and conveyed the spirit of the relevant documents. Deputy Secretary Zhang Yeshang thanked the experts of the research team for their suggestions. He said that the school will conscientiously implement the spirit of thesuperior documents, conscientiously improve the relevant work according to the recommendations of the research group, further strengthen the top-level design,lift the internationalization level of the school, and to perfect the system and mechanism of opening up, improve the risk prevention and control mechanism for opening up,and promote the new development of school education.
