On June 16, the Shandong Provincial People's Government Academic Degrees Committee issued the Notice on Approving Shandong Management University and Shandong Agricultural and Engineering University as Bachelor Degree Grantee Unit (Issued by ShanDong Academic Degrees Committee, [2017] No.3), awarded us bachelor’s degree unit, and 5 undergraduate majors as bachelor's degree including Mechanical and Electronic Engineering.

On June 28, our school held the 2017 Graduation Ceremony and the 2017 Undergraduate Degrees Awarding Ceremony, in which 811 graduates successfully completed their studies and obtained a bachelor's degree. This is the first bachelor degree graduated from our school.

The first bachelor graduates have won great result in the postgraduate entrance exam. In 2017, 238 fresh graduates from our university attended the postgraduate entrance exam, the rate was 28.88%, among whom 96 students were accepted and the online rate was 40.34%. A number of students were admitted by series of well-known universities, including Renmin University of China, China University of Petroleum, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University, South China Agricultural University and Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University.
